NEODALE

Neodale is also known as the City of Tomorrow. It's a very populated city bustling with rich cultures mixed with technology that has become integral in the citizens' lives. The citizens themselves are a mix of humans, aliens, and robots from all walks of life.

Their most prolific field is STEM, and they're still considered as one of the world's most urbanized cities (which, in 22XX, is definitely saying something). Neodale's most recent technological advancement is the discovery of time travel with the help of the arrival of the Pioneers. However, time travel research came to a halt after their sudden disappearance, bringing most of the time travel knowledge with them. Technological corporations are trying their damn hardest to be the first ones to create their own time machines, with what little bullet points they got from the elusive Pioneers.

It's tiring for the scientists working at these corporations, that's for sure.

ARESIANS, ROBOTS, & AI

Aresians are aliens from the planet Mars. Their real species name is a bit hard to comprehend by humans and the closest English word would be Aresian. They made contact with the Humans of Earth on July 2169, and they've got their own bodies of knowledge and cultures to share with them. In the present day, many of the Aresians have settled down and made families with Humans, much like how Humans have settled down on Mars with Aresians.

AI are to Robots as Souls are to Humans. Both of them are created inorganically, but they are considered to be legal citizens all the same. It's very common for a creator to create an AI and/or a Robot for the sake of sentience, but many are created for a specific purpose. AI do not require an automotive body to function, and Robots are the combination of an AI and a body. It is against their rights to completely rewire their personalities without their consent.

LOVECORP

LOVECORP is Neodale's leading tech manufacturing megacorporation. They specialize in, well...everything! From personal convenience, home appliances, work gadgets, corporate adspace, military tech! LOVECORP has you covered! Many competitors try (and fail) to measure up to LOVECORP's power, as they're often left behind as LOVECORP continues to create new innovations with the help of its talented engineers and scientists. The time travel craze seemed to affect them as well, and LOVECORP scientists are working hard to create their very own line of time machines.

Because of LOVECORP's, well, unique image as a corporation, it's become quite a staple brand in Neodale. It's considered to be a really, really expansive family business; it's current CEO is Valentine Lovegood, who is the direct descendant of the very first owner of LOVECORP. Every Lovegood has some exceptional power aside for being directly appointed CEO. Valentine for example has a seat in the Senate, like his mother before him.

DEJA VU

HE/HIM . 32 . ROBOT . TIME TRAVELER/INVENTOR

Deja Vu is a generally happy-go-lucky guy who enjoys learning new things and inventing gadgets and devices. He's very friendly and he has a very sharp sense of humor. He can get loud and he's easily excitable, which could be overwhelming for some, but he usually doesn't mean any harm. He's also very distractible, making him easy to lose track of his own goals.

He rarely talks about his origins because he lost his memories. He wants to learn more about himself, considering the fact that he's being hunted down because of it, but he feels he won't like what he'll discover...

OLIZ ZYRO

HE/SHE/THEY . 32 . ARESIAN . TIME TRAVELER/ENGINEER

Oliz Zyro is a brilliant engineer with a strong drive for perfection. He thinks very highly of himself and his charisma is hard to resist. He's unwaveringly loyal to his boss Valentine and he's glad he gave him the chance to hunt down Deja Vu. He's mostly unflappable in the face of uncertainty, and he never seems to frown, taking everything in graceful stride.

Oliz is the head of the two-person team in charge to capture the rogue time traveler. They're intent on finding him and giving him a piece of their mind after leaving them like that. Though their temporary teammate is giving them a real big headache...

THEIA WALKMAN

SHE/THEY . 32 . ARESIAN/HUMAN . TIME TRAVELER/ASTRONEER

Theia Walkman was a very different person before she got severely injured during an accident. She has grown very bitter and it's not an easy feat to earn her trust. She's a lot more careful this time around, but she's not afraid to fight back when necessary. She's very irritable as well, making her temporary partnership with Oliz all the more intolerable.

They keep saying it's worth it. It's worth enacting revenge on that imbecile that they no longer recognize as a friend, after what he did to them it's only appropriate to get him back after all those years. And, well...to be honest, the money offer is pretty great too.

COO, Secretary, Search Engine. Knows almost everything there is to know on the internet. Created specifically to run LOVECORP's tech and has the ability to spy and collect private information.

MISSING PEOPLE

Since the arrival of time travel, there have been reports of missing people other than the Pioneers who have seemingly disappeared without a trace. Some have suspected that they may be rogue time travelers, but this theory has not been confirmed.

THE PIONEERS

█████ and ██████'s arrival in 22XX sparked the advent of time travel. They painted themselves as scientists who were just curious and wanted to achieve something from time travel - they didn't seem to care for the fame that their experiment brought them. They were quite humble, and while they shared a lot about the time they came from, they rarely talked about themselves. Other than the sweet moment of how they found together and fell in love, almost nothing was known about them, and nothing else will ever be known about them because they've already escaped.

Escape is the proper word, isn't it?

Heya, Gene here! Thanks for looking through this site dedicated to my main brainrot story. I really want to make a webcomic for this story someday, but by the time this site is live, it's still very far from completion, and I don't know when it's going to be released if at all. Still!
